DESMARAIS & ROBITAILLE entered the world of liturgical arts in 1909, and a century later our name is synonymous with excellence and integrity. We have collaborated with hundreds of client communities across the continent in design projects involving the creation or reshaping of churches and chapels, monasteries and cathedrals. Our goal is to create holistic worship environments which graciously support prayer, and to achieve beauty and quality in each object designed for liturgical use.
In providing liturgical consultation to clients who are constructing or renovating places of worship our particular concern is that liturgical values take priority over other areas of valid importance. Our role includes helping a community become more conscious of how the worship environment can impact (positively or negatively) on communal prayer. Increased awareness can contribute to better decisions and more satisfactory results.
DESMARAIS & ROBITAILLE’S design services include:
- concept design for the creation or renovation of a worship space
- design (& fabrication) of liturgical furnishings and appointments
- liturgical art design (& fabrication)
- colour-scheme and decoration design
