The Gilles Beaugrand Silver Studio is recognized across North America for its elegant and original designs. Established in 1932, the precious-metal workshop has received both Old and New World honours during its long history. In 1983 Gilles Beaugrand joined Desmarais & Robitaille, and today the studio continues its tradition of creating fine ecclesiastical articles while it expands its secular parameters.

Among its notable achievements, the Beaugrand Workshop has fashioned an exact replica of the Stanley Cup. It has also fabricated the prestigious Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy, the Clarkson Cup for the National Women's Hockey League, and several Grand Prix Formula 1 trophies.

Artworks bearing the Beaugrand signature are found today in museum collections, including that of the Vatican. Gilles Beaugrand chalices have been presented to Pope Pius XII and Pope John-Paul II. The silver studio has been privileged to represent Canada at two World Fairs, and Beaugrand's creations have been officially honoured as a contribution to Canadian heritage.

Faultless handcrafting and meticulous attention to detail are hallmarks of the Beaugrand Gold ans Silver Studio. The skill and integrity of the silversmith combined with beautiful, genuine materials produce the exquisite quality for which the studio is renowned.

Beaugrand's superb "tulip chalice" and the "lily chalice" have both won Best of Show in the Visual Arts Awards, a national juried competition hosted by Ministry & Liturgy magazine.
