When cremation takes place in conjunction with a funeral, the Order of Funerals* allows - under certain conditions - for the celebration of the funeral liturgy in the presence of the ashes of the deceased. Desmarais & Robitaille is pleased to offer this handsome and dignified pedestal on which a vessel containing ashes may be placed for the funeral ritual. Hand-fashioned to classic proportions, this hexagonal pedestal is appropriate for any church or chapel. Small shelf 6 X 4 3/4" for flowers or photograph is included.
