Sanctuary window

St. Charles Church, Vanier, ON

This 7 foot-diameter window is set high above the altar in an interior wall, and was designed to be lit artificially. The glass is entirely antique, and the design incorporates the use of dalles de verre, roughly faceted chunks of thick glass.
