Desmarais & Robitaille specializes in the design and creation of original stained-glass art for liturgical space. After representing European glass makers for many decades, in 1971 we opened our own stained-glass studio in Montreal. Today our works can be seen in churches, monasteries and chapels throughout Canada and the New England states. Our commissions encompass a range of artistic styles, from gothic-revival to abstract to contemporary-figurative.

Art intended for a place of public worship demands special liturgical and architectural considerations. At Desmarais & Robitaille we consider it a privilege to share our expertise with a client community, addressing not only the aesthetic principles of good stained-glass design but also the liturgical requirements of quality and appropriateness.

With a special concern to integrate our stained glass into its unique architectural setting, our goal is the creation of a beautiful environment which supports and enhances religious ritual.
